How To Prepare for Code-With-Me Session

  1. Locate Hollyland microphone case.
  2. Plug receiver into USB-C port on PC. NOTE: Unless there's a USB-C extension cable, this requires removing the USB hub into which my keyboard is plugged into.

  5. Configure OBS to record into desired target directory for the episode. (Settings >> Output >> Recording Path) Of course, make sure directory exists first!
  6. Make sure microphone is enabled, and record a quick test video to confirm it is working and that levels are good.
  7. Delete test recording. Fix issues before continuing if required.

  12. Make sure "Screen Capture (XSHM) 2" is turned ON. <- This should give a view of your terminal on monitor 2.
  13. Bring up your coding session in the console.
